As an NPO, it is important to us to appease donors, funders and stakeholders,  in efforts to execute the NPO's vision and mission. The evaluation of an NPO by stakeholders in respect of its past, present and future handling its relationship with stakeholders reflects its ability and willingness to uphold stakeholders perception of the NPO.

Maintaining our good image, brand and reputation is important to us as an NPO, therefore crisis management is an essential tool to maintaining this reputation, as crisis is  an unexpected and unpredictable event that threatens important expectations of stakeholders related to safety, health, economic and environmental issues and can have a serious impact on the NPO'S performance  and generate negative outcomes. Therefore our NPO has a special management team that manages and monitors a crisis, the team consists of a crisis manager, legal counsel, public relations counsel, financial counsel, technical experts and support personnel. Once our team has implemented a plan to managing the crisis, they evaluate the effectiveness of it by answering these important questions:

•Did the organization see the crisis coming?

•Did the organization deal with the crisis effectively?

•How was the performance of personnel within the communication team?

•What worked, what did not and what could have been improved?
